Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Tansira ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the Tansira mobile application and the Tansira website (tansira.app) handle information.

Summary: The Tansira app stores all health data locally on your device using encrypted storage. We do not collect, transmit, or store your blood pressure readings on any server we operate.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The Tansira app does not collect:

• Blood pressure readings or health measurements
• Profile names or any personally identifiable information
• Device identifiers (IDFA, Android Advertising ID)
• Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to our servers
• Usage analytics, screen views, or event telemetry
• Location data

3. Local Data Storage

All health data you enter is stored exclusively on your device in a SQLite database encrypted with SQLCipher (AES-256-CBC). The encryption key is derived from a device-local secret and never transmitted. Data is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app.

4. Optional Cloud Backup

If you enable backup (Settings -> Backup), the encrypted database file is uploaded to your personal iCloud Drive (iOS) or Google Drive App Data folder (Android). We do not have access to these backups. They are subject to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.

5. This Website

The Tansira website uses Plausible Community Edition for analytics. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not fingerprint visitors. Aggregate page-view counts are stored on our own server. No data is shared with third parties.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is stored in a self-hosted Listmonk instance on our server. We use it solely to send the newsletter you requested. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.

6. Third-Party Services

The app does not include any third-party SDK that transmits data. The website uses:

• Plausible CE - privacy-respecting analytics (self-hosted)
• Cloudflare - DDoS protection and CDN

7. Children's Privacy

Tansira is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not collect your health data, there is nothing for us to provide, delete, or correct on our end. To delete your app data, uninstall the app or use Settings -> Data -> Delete All Data.

For newsletter subscribers: you may request deletion of your email address by unsubscribing or emailing us at the address below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app or website after changes constitutes acceptance.
