Switch between all four systems to compare their thresholds. Detect My Region uses device signals to recommend the same starting guideline as the mobile app.

Key difference
Stage 1 starts at 130 systolic or 80 diastolic. The crisis diastolic threshold is 120.
The mobile app uses the same device based recommendation when you choose Detect My Region. You can select a different guideline at any time in Settings.
Ranges are shown in mmHg. When systolic and diastolic fall into different categories, Tansira uses the higher category. Tansira classifies readings against published guidelines. It does not diagnose.

Link two accounts with an invite code. Crisis alerts are available on the free tier and carry no blood pressure values. Full record syncing is end-to-end encrypted and unlocks when either person has Pro. Both phones must be signed in.

A Siri Shortcut can open a reading in Tansira for review before you save it. Deep links can open the same confirmation screen. Manual entry remains available on iOS and Android.

Privacy, structurally
Core tracking stays on your phone.

Readings are stored in a SQLCipher database on your device using an AES-256 key held locally. Connected features only send encrypted or limited data when you enable them.
No account for core tracking.
Logging, history, trends, and PDF reports work without an account. Sign-in is required for Google Drive backup and Family Sharing.
Health data is not used for ads.
Tansira uses non-personalized ads in the free tier. Blood pressure values are not sent to the ad SDK.

The bad day
If a reading is scary, Tansira stays calm.
A crisis range reading opens a symptom checklist. If symptoms are selected, Tansira offers an emergency call action. If no symptoms are selected, it prompts the user to contact a provider urgently. The crisis flow does not diagnose and stays free of ads.
For caregivers
Checking in, without checking up.
Crisis alerts are available on the free tier and contain no blood pressure values. When either person has Pro, linked accounts can sync selected reading fields with end-to-end encryption. The person sharing can change permissions or revoke the relationship.

One switch scales app text, meaningful icons, and chart layouts by 1.4×. Main buttons and keypad keys use 56 pt minimum targets, interactive spacing increases, and reading edits or deletions require confirmation.

In High Contrast mode, reading cards pair category text with distinct shapes. Borders become stronger and shadows are removed, so meaning does not rely only on color.

What stays offline, what needs an account, and where Tansira draws the line.
- Core tracking stores readings locally in a SQLCipher database. If you enable Google Drive backup or Family Sharing, encrypted data leaves the device. Weather correlation sends the selected location to fetch local weather, but it does not send your readings.

- Yes. Core tracking is free, and the free tier uses non-personalized ads. It includes unlimited readings, all four guidelines, crisis warnings, medication tracking, manual health sync, and one PDF export per calendar month. Pro removes ads and adds advanced analytics, correlations, unlimited PDF exports, full Family Sharing record sync, automatic Drive backup, and automatic health sync.
- Yes, after both people sign in and link accounts. The free tier supports one pairing created by the user and crisis alerts without blood pressure values. Full encrypted record sync is enabled when either person has Pro. The person sharing chooses which supported fields to share and can revoke the relationship.
- One person creates a six-character code and QR code that remain valid for 24 hours. The other person scans or enters the code to link accounts. Crisis alerts are available on the free tier. Full record sync requires Pro on either account, and shared reading fields are encrypted on the sender's device before upload. Access can be revoked at any time.
- No. Tansira is an informational tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose conditions or recommend treatments. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice.
